With seven bouts scheduled, the night’s biggest upset occurred when Tony Ferrante (13-6, 8 KO’s) knocked out Baltimore’s Venroy July (16-2-3, 6 KO’s) in the second round of a scheduled eight round cruiserweight matchup. Ferrante staggered July midway through the round and followed up quickly with a thunderous right to send July to the canvas and end the fight at 1:26 in the second.
