Baltimore, MD – The Johns Hopkins’ football team continued to make a mark for itself at Homewood Field, best known as one of the country’s lacrosse cathedrals.

The 13th-ranked Blue Jays (1-0) ran over and around Randolph-Macon (0-1), 42-3, and in the process won their 16th straight contest in the month of September. They are also 34-1 in their last 35 regular-season games.

Senior signal-caller Braden Anderson threw for a touchdown and ran for two more to figure into three Hopkins scores. Sophomore Stuart Walters rushed for 87 yards and a touchdown on just seven carries as the Blue Jays churned out 289 yards on the ground.

Hopkins travels to Pennsylvania to play Susquehanna (0-1) this week. The Crusaders fell 42-13 to Lycoming (1-0) in their opener.
